ABOUT US
Care so good, it feels illegal… but it’s not.

BROUGHT TO YOU BY:
Dr. Sara Allen, DO – Family physician, neurospicy firebrand, rebel healer, motorcycle mama, and Commander in Chief.

Amy Silverman, RN – Nurse, harm reduction sorceress, trauma whisperer, spiritual arsonist, karmic loop liberator.

We met in the trenches of a system that told us to smile while it burned us out. Then we realized that the traditional hellscare system wasn’t broken. It was built this way. So we left.  And built the thing we—and our patients—actually needed.

WHY WE ARE DIFFERENT:

  • Rooted in trust, reinforced by relationships.

  • Powered by patient access (no choose-your-own adventure phone tree to yell “operator” at just to connect with your doctor).

  • Held by two clinicians who actually give a damn.

  • Integrated with what actually works.

WE OFFER:
Traditional primary care for the whole family that doesn’t feel like speed dating; psychedelic integration, harm reduction, and soul retrieval (the practical kind).

Dr. Sara Allen

I always knew I wanted to be a doctor when I grew up. I didn’t plan to get knocked up at 20. I am from the Midwest, mostly Ohio, and went to medical school at Ohio University in Athens at age 30, when my kids were ten and seven. By then I’d had a fair amount of life and work experience ranging from comedy club box office clerk to fertility clinic sperm counter, and most things in between. In undergrad at CU Denver I majored in Biology and graduated with honors one class shy of a double major in Chemistry. I had special interest in and interned for a molecular genetics lab. Residency happened at Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. It was a full-spectrum, unopposed program, and robust learning environment. I was trained for a future in the ER, as a hospitalist, or outpatient family medicine. The latter became my fate when I needed quiet stability as a newly minted single mom. I was largely unaware of my own neurodivergence until my queer, ND kids started calling it out. I resisted the label for a long time. But when I established care with a new therapist a couple years ago, one of her first questions for me was, “has anyone ever suggested you may have ASD?” My kids almost died laughing. I often hear that I’m the first doctor to have _______ (fill in the blank: “listened to me, not judged me, explained things to me, actually examined me, figured out what was wrong with me”) and I credit a lot of that to the uniqueness of how my brain works. I am an amateur artist, runner of normal distances, motorcyclist, and globe trekker. I am an enthusiastic adopter of psychedelic medicine, as a doctor and as a patient.

I’m a registered nurse, writer, neurodivergent mom, and trauma-informed care provider walking the sacred edge between conventional medicine and expanded states of healing. With deep roots in traditional nursing—from hospitals to care management startups—and years immersed in alternative modalities, I’ve learned how to bridge the clinical with the mystical. A graduate of Naropa University’s Interdisciplinary Studies program and Front Range Community College’s RN program, I’m also a certified yoga teacher, avid outdoor adventurer, and lifelong student of world wisdom traditions—including Kabbalah. My work is informed by both medical science and ancient systems of healing. Trained in cannabis and psychedelic medicine under Dr. Joe Cohen, I specialize in helping individuals and families integrate non-traditional therapies with conventional care—before, during, and after transformational experiences. Over a 15-year career in healthcare—and the past decade as an RN—I’ve supported thousands of humans through health crises, spiritual awakenings, and the beautiful mess of healing. My area of expertise is helping people understand how cannabis and psychedelics can be used as legitimate tools for treating medical concerns—not just for recreation, but with real intention, clinical grounding, and evidence-informed care. I’m also the creator and co-host of The Cannabis-Friendly Guide to Wellness podcast, and author of a forthcoming book exploring women’s health, grief, neurodivergence, and the untold stories of healing. I’ve led state and national advocacy to increase access and education around integrative and ethical care. I do this work because I’ve lived in both worlds. Healing is scientific and spiritual. Nursing is art and science. And care should always be rooted in integrity, trust, consent, and presence. Whether you’re preparing for a ceremony, managing a health condition, or navigating the unknown—I’m here to help you feel safe, resourced, and radically supported. Healing is sacred. And so is being ready for it.
